We coordinate naloxone distribution across Sangamon County and beyond to ensure it is easy to access when and where it’s needed.
What We Do:
- Provide free naloxone kits to the public

Place kits at local businesses and community locations

Support outreach teams with supplies

Ensure kits are restocked and not expired

Offer basic guidance on how to use Naloxone

Naloxone kits are available at partner locations across Sangamon County, including:
- Local businesses

Outreach teams in the field
Some partners include Chop Express, Handy Pantry, Mansion View, Jamal's Grocery, The Curve Inn, Currency 1st Exchange, Lon's Tire & Auto, and more.
How to Become a Naloxone Distribution Site:
Businesses and organizations can partner with Heartland HOUSED to make naloxone available on-site for public use by completing the Business Agreement for Narcan Availability on Site Form.
What this looks like:

Ensure staff are aware of its location

Have designated staff trained (training can be provided)

Contact us when supplies run low
