Solving youth homelessness is a difficult challenge for any community. Supporting youth without stable housing requires approaches that are fundamentally different from those our partners in Sangamon County have developed in recent years to support adults. Common perceptions of homelessness, focused primarily on individuals living unsheltered, are inadequate to capture the true scope of adult homelessness and even more so when it comes to youth.
