The Heartland Continuum of Care Youth Homelessness Task Group and Youth Action Board are excited to announce the community's first youth count with the hope of helping the Springfield and Sangamon County community better understand the housing challenges youth between 14-24 face and developing a better system of support.
YOU COUNT! will take place between April 30 - May 4th, 2025.
The goal during these five days is to encourage all youth (14-24) in the community who have experienced housing instability to complete an anonymous online survey to share their experiences. The data will help us understand local youth homelessness and guide better services, funding, and advocacy.
Youth can click here to complete the survey between Wednesday, April 30th and Sunday, May 4th.

Youth Service Bureaus is hosting a kick-off event Wednesday, April 30th from 9 AM to 3 PM 2901 Normandy Rd in Springfield.
